Welcome to the Conder, ACT website.
Where, what or who is Conder? Conder is a suburb located in southern Canberra,
ACT, in an area known as Tuggeranong. Conder is named for Charles Conder
(1868-1909) an artist who helped establish the Heidelberg School of impressionists.
The streets in Conder are named after artists, towns and other people associated
with the school.

the National Gallery of Victoria.
Conder Weather Station and Lightning / Storm Detection.

The weather station is a WM918 made by Oregon
Scientific. It has internal and external
temperature and humidity sensors, tipping
bucket rain gauge, wind speed and direction
and barometric pressure sensor. Weather Display
software is used to calculate and display
the data. The lightning detector is a Boltek
PCI detector with NexStorm software to calculate
the displays and upload to the internet.
